Batteries were electric vehicle＇s nucleus technology, standardization of lithium-ion battery bears substantial significance to improve batteries＇ performance and promote electric vehicle＇s development. Chinese battery standards and testing were still in its initial stages, several battery standards were under devising, so there were still some gaps compared with other countries. The current status of standardization of electric vehicle batteries in China and those in the other countries were described, and the battery test items and problems were also compared and analyzed. Research on battery standards and testing would promote to accelerate the standardization of batteries, and would be helpful to batteries＇ testing during the standards transition period.
