基于高阶理论和关注基础观,运用我国上海证券交易所244家制造业上市公司的相关数据,实证检验了高管团队职能背景多样性对企业创新产出的影响以及创新关注的中介作用。研究结果表明,高管团队职能背景多样性与企业创新产出存在正相关关系;高管对自主创新的关注在高管团队职能背景多样性与企业创新产出关系中起中介作用;在国有企业或拥有更多冗余资源的企业,管理者对自主创新的关注与企业创新产出之间的正相关关系更强。
Drawing on upper echelons theory and attention‐based view ,this study linked TMT functional diversity to firm innovation output and examined the mediating role of innovation attention in this relationship .Using the data from 244 manufacturing firms listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange ,the result of the empirical study showed that TMT functional di‐versity is positively related with firm innovation output and the effect of TM T functional diversity on firm innovation out‐put was fully mediated by CEO innovation attention .Furthermore ,the result showed that the relationship between CEO in‐novation attention and firm innovation output was strengthened when the firm was state‐owned and had more slack re‐sources .
