以纳米碳管为反应性模板、金属钽粉为金属源,采用熔盐法在纳米碳管表面反应原位生成TaC涂层,在混合空气下将TaC涂层于不同温度氧化转化为Ta2O5涂层,并运用XRD和SEM对生成产物的晶体组成和形貌进行表征。结果表明,采用熔盐反应法可在纳米碳管表面生成较为均匀的TaC涂层,经不同温度氧化后生成Ta2O5涂覆纳米碳管复合材料,在较高温度下其仍能保持纳米碳管原有的形貌。
Tantalum carbide(TaC) coatings on nano multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCNTs) were in situ grown using MWCNTs as the reaction template to react with tantalum powder in molten salt medium.The tantalum pentoxide(Ta2O5) coated MWCNTs composite materials were successfully prepared by the oxidation of TaC coatings in a flowing air atmosphere.The surface morphologies,crystal structure,phase composition of the products were characterized by SEM and XRD.The results show that uniform TaC coatings on MWCNTs can be synthesized in a molten salt medium and the Ta2O5 coated MWCNTs composite materials produced by oxidation at different temperatures can retain the original morphology of MWCNTs even at a higher temperature.
