设计了新型的光开关器件,该器件建立在掺杂电光材料的一维光子晶体上。运用传输矩阵法研究掺杂电光材料的一维光子晶体的传输特性。结果发现对特定缺陷模频率的光波,可以通过加在掺杂电光材料的电场来控制光信号的通断。当外加交变电场时,一维光子晶体周期性地输出脉冲。输出脉冲的间隔周期是外加电场的一半。
A new kind of optical switch is devised. The switch bases on one-dimensional photonic crystal doped by electro-optical material. The transmission properties of the structure are studied by eigen matrix method. For light with a special frequency, the on-off function of light can be achieved by putting electric field on the electro-optical material. For alternating electric field, the structure periodically exports pulses. The interval period of pulses is just half the period of external electric field.
