In this paper, the overall and thorough objective analysis upon cryptography technology application situation at digital television system is provided, which contains safety, machine card separation, software and hardware independent, cable and digital satellite television technology. Suggestions and prospects are proposed and it is also pointed out that the open download non-card CA under three net fusions is the developing direction of cryptography technology used in DTV.
