The polymer internal curing materials were an efficient functional water absorbent materials. It researched of background,the advantages of the water absorbent polymer internal curing materials;and the mechanism of internal curing was analyzed;the kind of internal curing materials have been summarized. Then we analyzed some researches and some problems of the internal curing materials. We expect the future research direction of the internal curing materials.
