This paper focuses on a supply chain consisting of single manufacturer and single retailer. We consider thatthe manufacturer produces two substitutable products which have different carbon footprints, and develop supply chain optimization decision-making model to determine the optimal environmentallevels and products' selling prices. Then we put forward supply chain coordination mechanism and analyze the impact of product substitutionon equilibrium solution and individual members' profit. And further we discuss the impact of revenue sharing contract on improving the level of the supply chain environment. We find that as the competition for product environmental level intensifies, the profits of supply chain members will always increase.Meanwhile, as price competition intensifies, the profits will decrease. In addition, centralized decision-making is not only beneficial to the improvement of the supply chain's profit, andis also helpful for the improvement of the supply chain environment level. The higher the consumers' sensitivity on difference of product environmental protection level, the better the revenue-sharing contract's coordination effect.
