为在体绘制中更直观地探索体数据的内部结构,提出一种基于热扩散的传递函数设计方案。根据体数据中的体素密度值赋予热扩散的初始热值,把每个体素都作为一个体源进行热扩散处理,扩散结束后,每个体素都会得到一个热值,根据体素上的热值和密度值设计传递函数,为体数据中不同结构对象设置颜色和不透明度光学属性。基于几组体数据的实验结果表明,该方法比传统的一维传递函数更直观有效。
To explore the inner structure of volume data visually using volume rendering,a transfer function scheme based on heat diffusion was proposed.The initial heat values of voxels were obtained from their intensity,and each voxel was considered as a diffusing source.The heat value of each voxel was updated through the diffusing process.The transfer function was designed to assign different optical properties,such as color and opacity,to structures inside volume data based on voxel’s intensity and the resulting heat value.Results of several experiments on different volume data sets show this method is more intuitive and effective than conventional one-dimensional transfer function.
