Transducer of ErbB-2.1 （TOB1）, as a member of TOB/BTG anti-proliferative proteins family, has the ability of inhibiting cell proliferation and plays an important role in some biological processes, such as cellular proliferation, cycle, growth, apoptosis, metabolism and development via involving in regulating various signaling pathways. Studies have shown that TOB1 is also closely related to tumorigenesis by participating in regulating multiple signaling pathways as to suppress malignant transformation and process. This review will focus on the research development of TOB1 related signaling pathways.
