The major factors affecting the performance of nickel-based amorphous alloy catalyst are summarized. The effects of supports and addition of metal, rare earth elements and preparation methods on nickel-based amorphous alloy catalyst's thermal stability and catalytic properties are reviewed. Furthermore, simple analysis for future research and application of nickel-based amorphous alloy catalyst are carried out.
