Piano basic course is a very important basic course in college music performance major. In recent years, curriculum reform has been done increasingly more towards this course, thus the pros and cons also gradually manifest themselves in the practical process. This paper investigates the current teaching situation of domestic universities in terms of the two aspects of teaching mode and evaluation system, and then analyzes the key problems as well as solves the problems fundamentally. The research is conducted to give full play to piano basic course and to cultivate more musical talents with strong comprehensive abilities.
