With the help of energy theory,we made quantitative description to the energy input and output of the eco-economic system in Minqin Liangucheng Natural Reserve.On such a basis, we made a comprehensive analysis of its energy changes from 2007 to 2011.Results show that significant changes have taken place during the period in its major indexes.Its net energy output rate decreased from 2.116 in 2007 to 1.902 in 2011,energy investment ratio increased from 3.930 to 6.332,environment loading rate increased from 0.816 to 1.564,and its energy sustainable in-dex decreased from 2.592 to 1.216.Such a continuous decrease or increase indicates that the situ-ation is not optimistic.We proceeded to put forward measures to handle it so that we can make use of the eco-environment and figure out guidelines for economic development in a reasonable way.
