[ Purpose/significance ] Visualization is a powerful tool for information analysis in big data environment. This paper constructs a flow chart of information analysis based on visualization method, offering a top-design guideline for information analyzing based on visualization method. [ Method/process ] With the method of literature collection and Internet survey, combining with the new issues of information analysis in big data environment, the paper analyzes the status and significance of visualization in information analysis, proposes to apply visualization in the primary, middle and last stages of information analysis and discusses the application prospect of information analysis based on visualization. [ Result/conclusion ] Visualization applied in the three stages of information analysis process makes up the deficiency of traditional methods, improves the efficiency of information cognition, and provides a new method for information analysis researchers.
