The emergency network public opinion research is an important field of academic research. The foreign emergency network public opinion research started early and progressed rapidly, it is based on constitutional democracy and highlights the rationality of science and technology, and focuses on the multidisciplinary knowledge exchange and interaction. However, domestic emergency network public opinion research is mainly in four aspects： the formation and dissemination research, the monitoring and disposal research, the specific de- partments emergencies network public opinion research and the violence of the emergency network public opinion research. Deepening the emergency network public opinion research should focus on network public opinion technology research, fundamental theory research and management countermeasures research support and interaction, further promote the integration and innovation of research methods and combine learning, introduction and innovation of the paradigm.
