The stone tombs of Hongshan Culture were the product of sacrifices in the society at that time.Archaeological materials of the stone tombs of Hongshan Culture in upper Xiliao river area showed that social differentiation started within the family;initial starting point of differentiation originated from the upper figures with sacrifices,not the unequal possession of wealth.In different stages of development and different distribution locations,there are obvious differences in grades about the stone tombs of Hongshan Culture,which meant that the social differentiation and classification of the society were normal at that time.Deep exploration and analysis of the social historical reasons behind the difference will be one of the important research topics.
