The paper analyzes the history,present status and trend in the academic research on industrial symbiosis,the frequency analysis on keywords is used to find the hotspots from the track of historical development.From the viewpoints of these hotspots,topics such as theory construction,industrial symbiosis mode,development mechanism,industrial application and performance measurement are studied based on global literature review,exploring the relationship framework for the research fields.The problems in the present research are concluded at last.
