英文摘要：
Based on the characteristics of rock structural planes, a new method to determine the preferred structural plane of rock, the improved efficacy coefficient method, is presented. The method considers not only the quantity predominance but also the quality predominance. Six groups of preferred indexes for evaluating the structural plane are summarized, and the process of classifying the indexes of the improved efficacy coefficient method is discussed. An application example shows that the method is reasonable and effective.
