Public administration based urban planning education is imperative as urban rural planning gradually turns to public policy. Planning education in public administration college shall clarify its theoretical and practical roles in national planning system： public administration shall provide theoretical support for policy making in urban planning; in practice, more talents for public administration and implementation shall be educated. The key points of education include： introduction of politics, law and management education; integration of public management theory with planning research for Chinese character planning theory development; incorporation of physical space education to set up dialogue with traditional urban planning.
