多重体全息光栅可当作一种粗波分复用器使用.用严格耦合波分析算法对多重体全息光栅的衍射效率进行理论分析,计算并分析光栅厚度及布拉格角度对该复用器的偏振相关损耗的影响.数值结果表明,通过优化光栅厚度和布拉格角度,在无明显增加附加损耗的前提下,可获得一种低偏振相关损耗的复用器.实验制作了一个波长间隔为20nm的8通道粗波分复用器,其测量结果与模拟计算结果吻合.
The diffraction efficiency of superimposed holographic gratings in a volume material as being a coarse wavelength-division multiplexer (CWDM-MUX) was analyzed. Rigorous coupled-wave analysis was used to simulate the effects of the grating thickness and Bragg angle on the polarization dependent loss. Numerical results showed that a low polarization dependent loss of the multiplexer could be obtained without significantly increasing additional loss by optimizing both the grating thickness and Bragg angle. An eight-channel CWDM-MUX with 20 nm spectral interval experimental as an example agrees well with the simulation results.
