The paper stated the modeling method of the mine strata. A borehole database and a 3D strata model were established. The paper analyzed the mine roadway 3D modeling method and the database establishment of the mine roadway 3D model. The engineering data and geological measuring data were applied to establish the 3D mine roadway. Base on the 3DMAX software platform, a 3D design software of the mine gas drainage boreholes was developed. The software could reduce the design workload of the engineering design personnel, improve the working efficiency and provide a method to the rapid and accurate drawings of the gas drainage boreholes and the optimized borehole design.
