Lignin was a natural abundant aromatic polymer,and lignin and its derivatives had extremely broad range of applications,so the separation and preparation of the research were favored by domestic and foreign scholars.Lignin can be separated and prepared in many ways.The extraction methods and the reaserch advances of alkali lignin,lignin sulfonate,organic solvents lignin,and mill wood lignin were mainly discribed,and each method＇s good and bad points were briefly described.
