Translators’ attitude toward culture plays a crucial role in translation,especially in the choice of originals,translating strategies and translating effect.The paper deals with the cultural information in Lin Yutang’s My Country and My People,pointing out that Lin Yutang was committed to the equality and integration of both Chinese and Western cultures throughout his life.Currently,the analysis of Lin Yutang’s attitude toward culture can be instructive to the strategy of Chinese culture＂going abroad＂.
