Coal combustion is responsible for one of the most significant portion of arsenic into the environment.In the present study,arsenic concentrations in coal samples from the Changchengwobao coal mine are analyzed,and the results indicate that:(1) The average value of arsenic is 84.5mg/kg in the study area, more high than that in Chinese coal;(2) Arsenic values show a negative correlation with coal thickness.Many studies on the arsenic during coal exploitation is urgently needed.
