英文摘要：

Land application of harmless or composted sewage sludge is usually regarded as an ap- propriate and effective way to reclaim its nutrients and organic matter. The main issues on land applica- tion of composted sludge in reeem twenty years in the national condition were summarized. Especially, heavy metals, composting products, technical policies and rules were investigated. From viewpoint of en- ergy flow and nutrient cycling, land application of sewage sludge should be encouraged rather than being denied blindly. Although some problems exist at the present time, the land application of composted sludge has a bright future and cautious optimism.
