人居环境是人类生存活动最密切最相关的地表空间,人居环境的脆弱性与人类对其需求提升的矛盾日渐凸显,人们在不断探索积极寻求对策过程中,拓展和丰富了人居环境理论与实证研究.地理学因其独特的区域性、综合性视角及强大的地理信息系统工具而占有不可替代的地位.以地理学视角,选地理学权威期刊代表性文章为材料,系统归纳了近10年来中国的人居环境研究结果.研究结果表明,中国地理学视角的人居环境主要在以下几个方面取得了较大的突破：①人居环境空间差异及评价;②人居环境系统综合性研究;③人居环境景观研究;④人居环境模拟与预测;⑤人居环境可持续发展研究;⑥地理信息科学对人居环境的技术支撑研究.
英文摘要：
The human settlement is the closest and the most relevant surface space to human activities. People are actively seeking strategies and solutions of the contradiction between the vulnerability and the increasing-demand of human settlement, which expand and enrich the human settlement theoretical and empirical research. Geography, with its unique geography regional, comprehensive perspective and powerful GIS tools, has an irreplaceable position among these subjects. Taking a geographic perspective, selecting articles from geography authoritative journal as materials, Chinese human settlement findings in the past 10 years were summarized systematically here. The results showed that the great breakthroughs of Chinese human settlement researches have obtained, which are listed as following： ① the assessment and spatial differences of human settlement; ② human settlements comprehensive system research ; ③human settlement landscape studies ;④ the simulation and prediction of human settlement with the methods of advanced models and simulation; ⑤ human settlement sustainable development; ⑥ the geographic information science technical support researches of on human settlement.
