Wheat bran contains a variety of phenolic compounds. The mainly phenolic compounds all have good antioxidant capacity and extensive application prospect in the field of food and medicine including phenolic acids,flavonoids,lignans,etc. Recent advances and status in research on extraction of phenolic compounds from wheat bran were reviewed in this passage with the purposes to provide references and theoretical foundation for future research and better product development of wheat bran.
