In Oct 2011 and Oct 2014, powdery mildews were observed separately in barbary wolf- berry in Nanhu Park, Siping City, and in the Medicinal Plant Nursery of Jilin Agricultural University, Changehun, Jilin Province. The pathogen was observed in detailed and was identified as Arthrocladiella rnougeotii based on the morphological characteristics. Arthrocladiella is a new record genus, and the disease is also the first report in Jilin Province. At the same time, Erysiphe kenjiana found on Barbary wolfberry was identified as＂ pseudoparasitism＂ based on analyzing the collection environment, anamorphs and the type of germ tube.
