A new Coccomyces member found on Chunia bucklandioides in Jianfengling National Forest Park of Hainan Province, China is described as Coccomyces chuniae. Description, illustrations, and discussion are given for this fungus. The type specimen is deposited in the Reference Collection of Forest Fungi of Anhui Agricultural University, China（AAUF）.
