A method of reliability assessment for combined GPS/GLONASS system is provided. On this basis, the reliability of combined GPS/GLONASS PPP system is analyzed using IGS tracking station data from three aspects, namely redundant observation components, positioning accuracy factor and reliability index. Furthermore, the reliability are compared with GPS-only system. The results indicate that the reliability and positioning accuracy of combined GPS/GLONASS PPP system are better than GPS-only PPP system.
