On the basis of the studies of the current packing problem, the categories of constraints in packing problem are investigated and classified. The constraint＇s role in the packing model is analyzed. An object-oriented approach is used to represent the different types of constraints in packing problem. Following the top-down design method, the packing model is put forward, which could provide reference for packing design in the future.
