The paper has reviewed the background of sustainable utilization of land and set forth its meanings: 1)any type of uti-lization should meet its fitness, and shouldn t lead to degradation of its productivity; 2)balance should be kept between the needand the supply of the land;3)the benefit of land utilization should be advanced constantly.
