对采用体布拉格光栅作为波长选择器件的外腔半导体激光列阵进行了实验研究。实验表明,在体光栅外腔作用下,高功率半导体激光器输出的线宽得到压窄、波长得到固定。与此同时,从布拉格衍射相关理论出发,分析了体光栅法线方向改变对激光器系统输出中心波长的影响。实验表明改变体光栅法线方向的角度,可以在一定范围内调整列阵的输出波长。
Using a volume Bragg grating(VBG) as tuning element, an external cavity laser comprising a diode array has experimentally been studied. The results show that the bandwidth of the output radiation of the high - power laser diodes is narrowed and the oscillation wavelength is fixed. In addition, the influence of the direction offset of the VBG normal with respect to the diode facet on output central wavelength of the external cavity laser has been anal.wed with the aid of the Bragg diffraction theories. Experiments verify that wavelength can be tuned to certain extensibility by changing the direction of the VBG normal direction in experiment.
