Resource searching is the key problem in P2P network. The resource searching mechanism in Gnutella network is introduced. By analyzing the present improved algorithm of Gnutella network as well as its disadvantages, a new network resource searching routing mechanism based on query-response policy is proposed. Then its scalability is effectively improved, its redundancy in the transmission of information is reduced and self-adaptability is obtained when not affecting searching efficiency.
