以1999年至2008年中国制造业20个分行业数据为样本构建面板模型,实证研究了FDI渗透与产业集聚的非线性关系,并进一步将所选行业按照技术水平进行分类,运用面板数据门限回归方法检验了FDI渗透的临界效应。结果表明:当FDI渗透率超过门限值时,FDI渗透率的提高对中低、中高和高技术行业集聚有显著的促进作用;当行业规模超过门限值时,FDI渗透率的提高对中低技术和高技术行业集聚有负向作用,但促进了中高技术行业的集聚;当劳动力成本超过门限值时,FDI渗透率的提高对不同技术水平的行业集聚在一定程度上都有促进作用。
This paper carries out an empirical study on the nonlinear relationship between FDI penetration and manufacturing agglomeration based on Chinese 20 manufacturing industries' data between 1999 and 2008.Further,this paper divides all industries into four categories according to the technical levels and tests the threshold effects of FDI on different technical industries using panel data threshold regression.The results show when the FDI penetration rate exceeds the threshold,the level of agglomeration can be significantly improved in the medium-low,medium-high and high technology industry;when the industry scale exceeds the threshold,the increase of FDI penetration has negative impacts on the agglomeration of medium-low technology and high technology industry,while it promotes the agglomeration level of the medium-high technology industry;when the labor costs exceed the threshold,the increase of FDI penetration promotes to some extent the level of agglomeration in all different technical industries.
