From the system architecture of knowledge, this paper combs and summarizes the evolution of the thought on constructionism irt the field of knowledge organization. The research shows that in the field of knowledge organization, structuralism is represented with ＂linear structure＂ and ＂tree structure＂ ; network constrcutionism uses ＂net structure＂ as blueprint; post-structuralism respects more flexible ＂net structure＂ with human factors. Through the analysis of the thought on constructionism that insisted for a long time in the field of knowledge organization, the paper reveals the original relations and development power of the thought on constructionism. From the perspective of constructionism, the paper provides reference for the related research in the field of knowledge organization and explores new discipline growth in the research field of knowledge organization.
