Phannacometabolomics aims to estimate and predict the efficacies, toxicities and pharmacokinetics of drugs by analyzing and comparing the metabolic spectra before and after drug interventions, providing new thoughts and strategies for clinical individualized medication and precise treatment. In this paper, the current research progress in pharmacometabolomics was reviewed from the aspects of applications, superiorities, challenges to confront and countermeasures.
