This paper analysis the economic reasons of food safety issues based on the asymmetry information theory.Through the analysis of information economics models,the article pointes out the ways to solve the food safety problem,and proposes the lawful measures on establishment of information symmetry and harmonious environment for food consumption,promotes food industry alliance to improve food reputation,strengthen food safety supervision,improve the coordination mechanism of unified law enforcement on food safety,improve the legal system on local food security.
