Cultural integration is a cross process of cultural conflict and amalgamation. The process between Christianity as an alien religious culture and Lingnan culture has never ceased since Christianity was introduced to Guangdong. From Opium War to the early 20th Century, Christianity in Guangdong experienced the resuming stage (1842-1880), the fluctuation stage (1881-1901), and the high-speed stage (1902-1920). From a cultural integration perspective, it took on cultural conflicts before Boxer Indemnity in 1901, since then mainly on cultural amalgamation. Missionary case is a direct manifestation of the conflicts. In the cultural districts of Guangfu, Hoklo (Chaoshan), Hakka of the Han nationality and minority cultural areas in Guangdong, the variance of the scale and the intensity degree of the cases reflected the difference of the cultural conflicts. The process of cultural conflict is accompanied by cultural amalgamation. In the early 20th Century, Christian churches carried out a series of localized adaptation aimed to themselves, while the regional cultures of different ethnic groups in Guangdong were engraved deeply the mark of Christianity culture.
