Graphene posseses superior physics, chemistry and mechanics performance and it becomes a research hotspot in recent years. Especially, its good conductivity and large specific surface area makes it have great application prospects in the field of electrochemistry. The main preparation methods of graphene are reviewed, the research in application of graphene and its composites in supercapacitors as well as its mainstream preparation methods are highlighted, and its future prospect is looked into.
