The SWOT method is applied to analyze circumstance for developing ecological industry in China mining zone which is facing complex environment including strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and threats.Developing the ecological industry,mining zone should use its advantages,overcome its disadvantages,take the opportunity and challenge the threat,and finally promote rapid and good industrialization.
