信息及通信技术的发展使得跨国虚拟团队(GVT)成为可能,但也带来了诸多挑战。本文选取大连软件外包行业为研究样本,采用案例分析方法,提出了技术任务适配视角下的GVT沟通模型。通过对6个团队的多案例研究,提出不同类型的任务对媒体有着不同的需求,任务类型与媒体特征间存在着最优适配,同时外语水平、项目经验等个人因素也会影响媒体使用的感知适配,并最终影响沟通绩效水平。
The rapid development of information communication technology has made Global Virtual Team (GVT) possible,but it has posed many challenges as well.This paper conducts a research of the software outsourcing industry in Dalian,and then builds a GVT communication model from the viewpoint of the matching theory.Based on a multicase study of 6 GVTs,it proposes that different types of tasks require different kinds of media,and a certain media feature is optimal for a certain type of task.It also finds that personal factors like foreign language proficiency and project experience will influence the perception match between task and media,and hence have an impact on communication performance.
