级配砂石是应用广泛的工程材料,现行的工程质量监测方法较为繁琐且存在一定安全隐患。使用自主研发的基于剪切波速测试技术的无粘性土剪切波速与相对密度联合测试系统,研究不同粗料配比的级配砂石材料的剪切波速与密实程度的关系,为其工程性质研究及施工质量监测提供发展新方法的物理基础。试验结果显示,当粗料配比较小且相对密度较小时,该关系表现为曲线;随着粗料配比的增加或者相对密度的增加,关系表现为直线型;幂函数关系可以很好的表达上述级配砂石材料的相对密度与剪切波速关系。通过对天然砂石混合料的测试及应用三轴-剪切波速系统测试原试样的试验结果验证了上述幂函数关系的合理性。
Graded sand is widely used as engineering material. The current engineering quality monitoring is rela- tively tedious with potential safety risk. Utilizing the latest developed apparatus for testing shear wave velocity and relative density for cohesionless soils, the influence of ratio of coarse aggregates on shear wave velocity of sand is in- vestigated, in order to provide the physical basis for developing new methods on supervising engineering quality of graded sand and studying its engineering properties. Experimental results show that, when the ratios of coarse ag- gregates to relative density are small, the relationship between shear wave velocity and relative density is non-line- ar; when the ratio or density is higher, the relationship becomes linear; an exponential function is used to calibrate the relationship. Through triaxial test of original samples and natural sand samples, the exponential function be- tween shear wave velocity and density ratio is proved.
