目的整理《益闻录》中自然科学知识的传播,为勾勒晚清期刊演化与科学传播轨迹提供文献支持。方法原始期刊文献分析和考证法。结果详细统计出了《益闻录》中传播的自然科学知识的篇目总数共为878篇,其中地理所占比例最高为57%,其次为物理14%、工程技术13%、天文10%;地理学知识中,人文地理为390篇,约占到总地理篇目的79%,以世界各地"考略"为主,并对应附有地图;物理学内容涉及声学、热力学、光学、形性学、电磁学5个方面,其中声学、力学、光学多为对17世纪之前西方物理学知识的译介报道,热力学和电磁学内容涉及蒸汽机及德律风等最新科学发明。结论作为中国天主教第一报人李杕主笔的天主教第一份机关刊物《益闻录》,在19世纪70年代传教士所办期刊中极具代表性,曾在中国人睁眼看世界方面做出积极贡献,也报道了最早的中国行政区划地图和机器耕作技术等。
Aim To study the dissemination of knowledge in the natural sciences in "Yi Wen Lu" to draw an outline of the evolution of the late Qing dynasty journals science communication path to provide documentary evidence support.Methods The original journal literature analysis and textual research method.Results Detailed statistics of the "Yi Wen Lu" was made for the natural science knowledge table of articles totaled 878,of which the highest share of geography 57%,followed by 14% in physics,engineering 13%,and astronomical 10%.In geography knowledge,the human geography essays of 390,which is approximately to the total geographical contents 79%,as the mainstay,and correspond with the map.The contents of the physics involved in acoustics,thermodynamics,optics,shape sexuality,electromagnetic five aspects.acoustics,mechanics,optics are mostly the report of the translations of Western physics knowledge,thermodynamics and electromagnetic content covering the latest scientific invention of the steam engine and telephone.Conclusion As the first organ of the Catholic Church edited by the first Catholic newspaper writer Teddy Lee,"Yi Wen Lu" is the highly representative in the journal run by missionaries of 70s in the 19th century,it has made a positive contribution to make Chinese open their eyes and see the world,as well as reported the earliest known map of China′s provinces divisions and farming machine technology,etc.
