In this paper,a DCM method with its principle and algorithm is introduced to handle the problem of log volume overflow. It is proved that this method performs effectively in the system. At the same time of maintaining the high availability of the system,disruptions on system performance is reduced when log volume overflow happens and the data phase difference is projected to be controlled under the mechanism.
