英文摘要：

This paper dealt with inaccurate identification of some species in the family Neritidae. Specimens were arranged and classified systematically. The result showed that there are confusion and synonym： the name of the Lineate Nerite, Nerita lineata Gmelin, 1791, was a junior homonym ofNerita lineata m/iller, 1774 and a synonym ofNerita balteata Reeve, 1855. In addition, the Chinese name of this species was not unified in the published literatures. We clarified and revised the species name of the Lineate Nerite in the current literatures： Nerita balteata Reeve, 1855 according to the morphology and comparisons with similar species. All specimens were obtained from collections of the South China Sea Institute of Oceannology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
