西藏昌都树木年轮记录的过去394年冬季气温历史

历史时期气候事件时段(如小冰期)区域间气候的异同特征是全球气候变化研究的重要内容.该方面的研究仍有待于在空间上扩展更多的历史气候序列。本文利用采自青藏高原东部昌都地区的树轮资料重建了研究区过去394年(1617—2010年)的冬季气温历史。结果显示,在过去394年研究区经历了25个异常冷冬和27个异常暖冬,经历了5个相对的冷时段(1617—1671,1715—1739,1789—1824,1905--1930和1962--1984年)和5个相对的暖时段(1672—1714,1740—1788.1825-1904。1931—1961和1985--2010年),冷时段持续的时间要相对短于暖时段持续的时间。1600s一1700s在全球多个地区被发现为小冰期的明显冷期,而本研究发现1617—1671年为明显冷期而1672一1714年为异常的暖期,可能表明这一冷期在青藏高原东部结束的更早。研究结果可为深入认识区域间气候的异同特征提供参考基础。

英文摘要:

The difference and similarity of climate change in the especial climate event periods (e. g. Little Ice Age) are one of important object of global climate change research. For such study, it is still essential to enlarge the spatial distribution of the long-term climate series. In this study, we reconstructed the mean minimum temperature of previous November to current February during the past 394 years (1617--2010) using tree-ring data from Qamdo of Tibet. The reconstruction showed that there were 25 extremely cold years and 27 extremely warm years in the past 394 years. Five relatively cold periods (1617--1671, 1715--1739, 1789--1824, 1905--1930 and 1962--1984) and five relatively warm periods (1672--1714, 1740--1788, 1825--1904, 1931--1961 and 1985--2010) were identified. We found that the cold periods persist relatively shorter than the warm periods. The interval 1600s--1700s has been identified as the coldest period of Little Ice Age in many regions in the world. Whereas our reconstruction only agrees such finding in the period 1617--1671, an anomalous warm period 1672-- 1714 was identified in our reconstruction. This might indicate that this cold period end earlier in eastern Tibet Plateau than other regions. The results can provide basic reference for the further regional comparison study in temperature change.
