文中提出了基于视频＋数码方式的电子警察系统的设计方法,给出了系统的结构图,通过线圈检测器实现车辆的违章检测,利用视频＋数码的方式实现对违章车辆进行抓拍,系统不但可以提供违法照片,还可以记录车辆冲红灯的全过程。该方法已在佛山市电子警察系统中得到应用,实践证明具有良好的效果。

英文摘要：

This paper proposes a method of electronic police based on video and digital camera,system structure diagram is given.The compositions and the functions of the electronic police are introduced,detecting traffic violation by the loop detectors and capturing the illegal vehicles by using video and digital camera together.The system can not only provide photo of illegal vehicles but also record the whole process of red light running.The method has been applied in Foshan City,which proves to be effective.
