With the function analysis of the tools of the Cutting tool systems, dividing the tools system into three parts： shaft module, middle module and working module. The mathematical model of combination and assemblage is developed for modularized cutting tool system. During the process of assembly, advance the thought of the virtual tool magazine and do the research of it.
