Acer elegantulum ＇Fendai＇ is a elite cultivar selected from superior individuals of Acer elegantulum in Ninghai County, Zhejiang Province. Most young leaves of this cultivar are rose red, few of young leaves are rose red and purple-red mixed. Mature leaves are mostly pink, few are pink and green mixed, which turn green and yellow at the end of July, and then turn yellow in autumn. The samara are green with pink wings. It has high ornamental value.
