＂秋实＂黄竹（Dendrocalamus membranaceus‘Qiushi’）属竹亚科（Bambusoideae）牡竹属（Dendrocalamus Nees）,是由天然黄竹变异个体经进一步分离、移栽、培育而成的竹类新品种。＂秋实＂黄竹与另一品种＂花秆＂黄竹（D.membranaceus‘Striatus’）十分相似,关键区别在于前者秆节间具数条宽窄不等的金黄色纵条纹,且条纹数量较多、条纹的颜色与秆之绿色对比明显,其竹笋或箨新鲜时光滑无毛并具明显棕色和绿色条纹,箨舌先端呈不规则齿裂;后者则无此特征或特征不明显。

Dendrocalamus membranaceus ‘Qiushi＇,a new bamboo cultivar,is developed from the natural mutants of D.membranaceus‘Striatus＇ through artificial separation and transplantation.The key differences between‘Qiushi＇and D.membranaceus ‘Striatus＇ are that there are several golden-yellow stripes longitudinal in different sizes between the internodes of‘Qiushi＇,the fresh bamboo shoots or sheaths being smooth without setae and obvious brown and green stripes,and the apexes of culm ligules showing irregular-dentate.D.membranaceus‘Striatus＇ has no these features.
